Who We Are

Our Story

Christian Impact Mission (CIM) is a faith-based, non-profit development agency transforming communities by nurturing a new mindset, fostering an empowered worldview, and delivering practical, sustainable solutions.

Founded several decades ago as an evangelistic movement, CIM has since evolved into a catalyst for holistic transformation bridging faith, development, and innovation. Today, CIM operates across Kenya and East Africa, creating lasting grassroots impact through integrated programs in agriculture, water security, peacebuilding, youth empowerment, and spiritual renewal.

Our Legacy

We are known for

Operation Mwolyo Out (OMO): A movement that started in Yatta, Machakos County that shifted communities from food relief to food sovereignty.

Empowered Biblical Worldview: A transformation model now adopted globally by organizations like World Vision.

The One Acre Rule: A smart farming innovation enabling families to convert small portions of land into a thriving source of food, water, and income.

Youth Empowerment (AYAWE): Training youth across Africa in modern agribusiness.

Missionary Model of Transformation: A holistic framework that integrates anthropology, faith, livelihood, peace, and gender equity.

A community cannot grow beyond its mindset.

CIM’s signature model, the Empowered Biblical Worldview model, focuses on shifting communities from being perennial recipients of Relief (Mwolyo) to dignity, self esteem, self reliance, self sufficiency, self sustenance, as the foundation for sustainable change.

We’ve trained leaders and institutions in Kenya (including Kalawa in Makueni County, Katitu in Kisumu County, Baringo, West Pokot etc) and beyond (Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan), shaping tens of thousands of lives.

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION IN SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS IN MARGINALIZED, CONFLICT RIDDEN AREAS

While the rest of the country has moved on and the academic year has picked for those who recently joined High School, there are those in the conflict and insecurity-ridden North whose lives have not continued. In fact, they are literally stuck with their options being either early marriage for girls or survival for the boys, which for a number usually means finding alternatives to the educational path (spelled crime and banditry).
