At Christian Impact Mission (CIM), one of our most strategic missionary approaches especially in marginalized and vulnerable communities is the establishment of Commercial Impact Villages (CIVs).
These villages are not projects, they are living models of transformation that showcase how faith, development, and sustainability work hand in hand. From mindset change to infrastructure, CIVs embody our vision for practical, scalable change.
The heart of spiritual and mindset transformation, powered by the Empowered Biblical Worldview (EBWV).
Examples: Maiuni, Mathingau, Makutano, Kaamani in Yatta, Machakos County, and Mosolion, Silale, Naudo, Domo among others in Baringo and West Pokot Counties at the Kerio Valley
The church doubles as a training hub, equipping communities for spiritual, economic, and social transformation.
A place for shaping the next generation, instilling behavior change, life skills, and purpose.
These villages attract infrastructure, attention, and support through advocacy and public-private engagement.
Foundational Pillars of CIVs:
- Self-Reliance
- Self-Sufficiency
- Self-Sustainability
- Peace with God, self, and neighbor
- Resilience
- Donor partnership and support as catalyst, not primary drivers
