From the training Center, the CIM/OMO model success story has spread like a bush fire becoming a Model Community
Transformation program for communities, churches, NGOs, and County Governments to learn from. CIM now has active
presence in Yatta, Machakos County where the CIM Center Headquarters is hosted, in East Pokot in Baringo County, in
West Pokot County, in Makueni County in partnership with the Makueni County Government, and in Tanzania in
partnership with World Vision Tanzania, among other areas where it works in partnership with different Stakeholders in
the Agriculture and development sector with a focus on training and mentorship for increased adoption. The success in
Yatta also saw the adoption of the Model nationally through the National Government’s Household Water Harvesting
Programme being implemented by the National Irrigation Authority (NIA) as part of the President’s Big Four agenda on
Food Security.
